Best Club Award |
A club must have at least 7 members submitting entries in a section to be eligible for that section's Best Club award. The four scores of each entrant of an eligible club will be totaled, then the totals of the highest 7 will be added to determine that club's score. The club with the highest 7 member total will be the winner of the Best Club award for that section.

Titles |
Titles will not be read aloud during judging. Please limit titles to 35 characters including spaces and punctuation. The Entry Form software will clip any excess characters resulting in an incomplete title that could cause you problems when applying for a star rating. The titles on the backs of the prints must match the titles on the Entry Form.
Monochrome Definition |
Monochrome prints are defined as having no more than two colors, monochrome plus one other color.
Hand-colored prints are to be included with, and considered part of the Color Print section.
Image Size |
Large prints (Class A) may not exceed 20 inches (50 centimeters) in the longest dimension nor 16 inches (40 Centimeters) in the shortest dimension including mounts if applicable.
Small prints (Class B) may not exceed 12 inches (30 centimeters) in the longest dimension nor 8-1/2 inches (20 centimeters) in the shortest dimension.

Submitting Entries |
Prior to shipping your prints you must complete the on-line Print Entry Form. This filled-in form must be mailed with the prints to the address indicated on the Entry Form. After you have carefully read these "Information and Instructions", click here to fill out the Print Entry Form and email it to yourself to print out and include with the prints. You will receive a separate email entry form for each section you enter.
Large Prints from inside the USA may be shipped mounted or unmounted but unmounted prints are encouraged and have lower entry fees. From a practical side, no mounting means less work for the entrant and less expense in shipping the prints to the Exhibition. MOUNTED PRINTS WILL NOT BE EXHIBITED.
Small Prints from inside the USA and all Prints from all locations outside the USA must be shipped unmounted and flat regardless the country of origin. Stiffeners are recommended for unmounted prints to prevent damage during shipping. Mounted Small Prints and Mounted prints from outside the USA will not be judged.
A box is provided on the Print Entry Form to give permission to destroy the prints after the Exhibition. Entrants giving this permission must sign in the space provided on the Entry Form and can pay the reduced fees based on the Non-Return Fees above. All other entrants must pay the higher fees based on the Return Fees above.
Class A (Large) prints and Class B (Small) prints may be shipped together. Return prints will be shipped back to the entrant using the same packing material used to submit the prints.
Club entries shipped in a single package are preferred but not required. The club name must be clearly stated on all individual Entry Forms. In addition to the individual Entry Forms, the Club Coordinator must include a separate master list with each club entrant, the fees paid by each entrant and whether the individual entrant wants their prints returned or not. If the club entry includes both Return prints and Non-Return prints, packing material other than that used to submit the prints may be used to return the Return prints.

General Conditions and Rules |
Maker's Name: The maker's name and/or image title shall not be in the image area of any digital files, slides or prints. The maker's name, address, and image title must be on the back of the print. Only pressure sensitive labels may be used on the backs of unmounted prints to prevent bleed-through of the ink.
Original Image Statement: Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of object via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his/her own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a web site. The exhibition assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. Images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, subject to divisional restrictions, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates. All final work must be on photographic film, digital file, on photographic print material or digital print mater, mounting excepted.
Previously Accepted Images: As with all PSA-approved competitions, no image can be accepted more than once in the same division of the same competition. For example an CPA (large color) image accepted in a past PSA International annual conference competition cannot ever again be entered into another year's CPA (large color) competition for that salon. This same rules applies for CPB (small color), MPA (large monochrome) and MPB (small monochrome) also. Each of the four PPD sections is unique and separate, with its own star path. Acceptance in one PPD section does not effect the status of that image in any other section or any other exhibition.
Duplicate Images: The exhibitor cannot enter the same image in both large (CPA) and small (CPB) color print sections, nor will the exhibitor enter the same image in both large (MPA) and small (MPB) monochrome print sections in the same year. The same or similar images may be entered in color and monochrome sections in the same year.
Please note: Different images using the same title will be considered the same image. And the same image entered with different titles will be considered the same image.
Emails: Filled-in Entry Forms and Report Cards will be sent to entrants via email from the Chairman Email Address above. Please be sure that both email addresses has been included in your "safe" email addresses to assure receipt of these emails instead of having them blocked by your security system.
Exhibition Is Open: The exhibition is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to the exhibition rules and conditions.
